Job Details: Baker/Pastry Chef at Ferrane Bakery
Ferrane Bakery, New York's newest gathering spot in Brooklyn Heights, is seeking passionate and dedicated Bakers/Pastry Chefs to join our small, hard-working team. Our concept focuses on bringing delectable Swedish sandwiches, breads, and pastries, alongside exceptionally high-quality coffee, to our patrons, while fostering a community space that promotes collaboration and giving back. We are quickly becoming a Brooklyn favorite.
About the Role:
You'll have the exciting opportunity to work in a brand new, state-of-the-art kitchen, developing a high-quality menu of baked goods with a team of award-winning professional bakers from Sweden. We are looking for individuals with experience in baking bread, pastries, and viennoiserie, with a variety of baked goods highly desired. Ideal candidates are dedicated to hard work, consistency, possess a team player attitude, and embrace open and positive communication.

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year professional culinary experience
Experience with baking bread, croissants, and/or pastries
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Open availability for a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays (bakery is open 7 days a week, with shifts beginning at 4 AM)
