About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Automations Manager to lead a team of developers charged with the automation of business processes utilizing UIPath and Python. In this role, you’ll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex automations whose function are critical to the ongoing operations of the business. You’ll provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to a growing team, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure our products are scalable, performant, and aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both UiPath and Python, alongside a proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring technical teams to deliver impactful automation solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of RPA and Python automation developers.
  • Own the software development lifecycle – from requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and prioritize projects based on business impact.
  • Oversee the design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of automation solutions.
  • Establish best practices and standards for coding, process documentation, and deployment strategies.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with data security standards and internal governance policies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency.
  • Set technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps.
  • Prioritize team tasks and projects using agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Conduct regular code reviews, performance evaluations, and one-on-ones.
  • Identify and remove blockers, foster innovation, and promote a healthy team culture.
  • Ensure consistent and reliable deployment practices through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new technologies where appropriate.


Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in RPA (specifically UiPath) and Python-based process automation.
  • Proven experience managing technical teams and delivering successful automation projects.
  • Strong proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Python scripting.
  • Strong proficiency in observability and ensuring automations are developed with a view towards reliable and transparent operation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and API integrations.
  • Experience in process mapping and workflow optimization.
  • Prior experience in startup or fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring and growing development teams.
